Cami & The Cosmopolitans will play for the 4th Annual Swing Dance Party of the swingin'est dance club around, The Northern California Lindy Society! (http://www.ncls.com/fm2006/index.html) Some of Max Perkoff's band "Nights With Lady Day" and some of my band are joining for an 8-piece "sounds like Big Band" fabulous night of Lindy hoppin' and Balboa'in' and Both Coasts dancin'! Maybe even some Ballroom and waltzing and Tango-ing! Featured artist will be the famous Harlem Savoy Ballroom Lindy dancer of the 30's and 40's, Mr. Frankie Manning. (http://www.ncls.com/frankiemanning.html ) Still dancing at 90(!), Frankie is the unofficial Ambassador of Lindy Hop to the world, spreading its popularity to the far corners of our planet while traveling and teaching the dance that he helped to pioneer.
