The last time I saw you, I was with Carl Rueckl and we had gone to see you sing some place in Reno.I think that Carl and I were about 21. He was temporarily broken up with Paula and I was his main squeeze for about 2 seconds....You and Carl were pretty good friends then. You were the guest conductor also that year when Perry Jones took a trip for the choir and you tried to get all of us to scat sing! What a disaster! I can remember you laughing at us. Those were the days. I said when so you think you can dance came on " Is there more than one Cami Thompson?' And it turns out -There's not. Good for you! Take care

Back in 1990, my co-worker at Harrah's took me to see you perform at a little jazz club on Virginia St. (The Great Escape was the name of the place at the time, I think.) You were and still are an amazing performer. You sat at our table and spoke with us in between sets, and I was so impressed with your wit and fun personality.
